  • Old Vaasa is situated about 6km south east of the todays town featuring some ruins and a most bizarre manor house redone into a church.
  • Raippaluodon Silta, Finland's longest bridge, can be reached when driving 10km north-west toward the island Raippaluoto, which is a part of the municipality of Mustasaari that surrounds Vaasa. Just a bit before the bridge is a lovely public beach where you can easily camp for a day or two.
